Our free Citizenship Classes are designed to prepare learners for the U.S. naturalization interview and exam.

    • Learn about U.S. History and Government (100 Civics questions)
    • Practice your English reading, writing and speaking skills

Register for a Class

*** All students must register in person and you must bring your Green Card (not just a photo on your phone) *** Visit one of the locations below to register. Plan for a 45-minute visit.

    • Portland SOAR Legal office: Mondays, between 12:30 to 2 p.m., at 7931 NE Halsey Street, Suite 300 (directions)
    • Hillsboro SOAR Legal office: Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 1 to 3 p.m., at 862 SE Oak Street, Suite 3A (directions)
    • Beaverton City Library: Saturdays, March 30 and April 6 only, 1 to 3 p.m. at 12375 SW Fifth St. (directions)
